Creality sent the Ender 5 Plus 3D Printer to the gym. Telling it not to come back until it was bigger, faster and ultimately much hotter. (Yes, that’s a pun!). Consequentially it did just that, getting you to 100˚C in just 10 minutes. Furthermore with its larger build area of 220 x 220 x 300 mm. Coupled with sleek looking refinements in the hot bed, electrical housing and TFT screen. Without a doubt the Ender 5 Plus is looking good.
As it stands the Ender 5 Plus has a lot of facility straight out of the box. Featuring a BL Touch pre-installed and good to go. All powered by Creality’s latest V1.5 board mainboard. Housing TMC2208’s silent stepper drivers, which always makes a huge difference in noise levels.
Additionally also included with the Ender 5 Plus is the wonderful Capricorn Bowden tubing. However I am not sure looking at the information if this is the Capricorn TL or XS. Hopefully it is the XS allowing for higher temperatures and smoother flow of the filament. Personally I have XS running TPU without a hitch in a long Bowden setup on a stock Creality Ender 3 Pro.
Moreover when it comes to the print quality itself, the refinements on the Y and Z axis with increased torque and smoother movements, can only result in smoother prints.
Without a doubt, on paper the Creality Ender 5 Plus appears to be king of the Ender 5 Series. Ultimately it will no doubt appear on many a Christmas Wish List.
